Defensiveness over the city's long-standing "steak and potatoes" reputation is one factor. What dishes are said to have their roots here? The famed Rocky Mountain oyster, the Denver omelet, the ice cream float, and the cheeseburger (a questionable claim) hardly make the list.

Rachel was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable about Denver history! The snacks were very tasty! If you are looking to fill in some of your time visiting Denver, this is a good way to go.
