We had four folks in two kayaks (two couples). The manatees were EVERYWHERE (and so close you could pet them), and we even saw a dolphin. Otto was the highlight of the tour, even with the manatees! The area was truly beautiful and very relaxing.

On our trip it was my husband, myself and our teenage daughter. I was of course a little nervous as I didn't know what to expect (that's my nature). My daughter and I rode tandem and my husband rode by himself in a single kayak. Otto was our guide. We love Otto!! No one else booked for our time so we had Otto to ourselves. He has so much knowledge about the manatees and the tour that we had a great time learning, very informative. Just so you know I have only been kayaking one other time so I am not very experienced, I do have lots of canoeing experience so that helped with paddling. The waters were calm and kayaking was a breeze. We saw a few dolphins right away. I was more nervous that we would see an alligator or that our kayak would get flipped because a cute manatee would do it accidentally. Well for all you people like me, no worries. We kayaked up the Indian river and Otto talked about the history, plants, animals, you name it and he was covering it. We came to a cove and there was an amazing amount of manatees. There were tons of manatees, floating, rolling over, snorting water. Their little heads kept peeking up, so cute! This experience was something that I will never forget. I kayaked next to them and they pushed my kayak gently or peeked their head up right next to our kayak as if to say "Hello". I recommend this tour for all ages as it was very calm, fun and relaxing.

We went out with Bailey, and he was fantastic! We knew before going out what the rules were for being in the water with the manatees. We headed out from Haulover Canal and cruised up to a little area where there were manatees everywhere! Bailey was knowledgeable and friendly. We then got to see the NASA assembly building on our way back. Thanks, Bailey!
