Introducing Squid! The quietest experience you will have on a boat while watching dolphins.
We worked with David Walworth, an MIT educated Naval Architect and Principal Engineer known for his high-efficiency catamaran designs, to build the perfect boat for our trips from scratch.

Our amazing crew are closely trained by our Honest Eco Biologists. Crew training starts on land with research and mission alignment before moving onto the water where we hone our seamanship skills and work to become as effective as possible at delivering on our Purpose.

We had a fantastic time on our morning trip today with Wade and Brian! Their knowledge of the area and wildlife was incredible! We saw fish, coral, sponges, a sea turtle, dolphins and more! The size of the group and the boat itself were just right for our family, and we can't wait to come back. The fact that it is a family run company that devotes significant resources to education and research is the icing on the cake. I can't recommend Honest Eco enough!

We booked this trip because of the marine biology and conservation efforts. I am so glad we did. Heather was wonderful, she taught us about the local ecosystem without making it feel like a lecture. Wade was awesome as well, very funny and very knowledgeable about the area. He made it his mission to find us some dolphins to see. They provide all snorkel equipment, including a wet suit in colder months, which I was grateful for. They also have float belts for those who are not strong swimmers. The snorkel location was about 9-15 feet I believe. Heather snorkeled with us and guided us and taught us along the way. She found a purple sea urchin to show us who had camouflaged with shells! After the snorkel she cut up fresh fruit for us, which was delicious. There is a “head” on the boat (or bathroom) which is very much like an airplane bathroom, except for the flushing which you do by hand. There is plenty of seating down below with shade, and an upper deck to watch from. We saw dolphins, a manatee, and a sea turtle!

They both have a way of making learning fun and engaging, and Wade definitely takes his dolphin-finding mission seriously. It sounds like you had an incredible snorkel, too! Heather is great at guiding guests and pointing out the coolest finds how awesome was that purple sea urchin camouflaging with shells? And fresh fruit after snorkeling? Always hits the spot! We get those from Date and Thyme a local cafe, they make the best organic snacks, and we love supporting local businesses. And wow, dolphins, a manatee, and a sea turtle all in one trip?
