After spending a couple of days meandering around Charleston, but tied into wedding events we really looked forward to a historical and localized culinary experience. And boy that’s exactly what we got and then some. Dustin, our tour guide, was superb, smart and funny. Our tour started with bbq sliders, fried pimento cheese balls (yum)and the best cornbread at Poogans. Then sorry don’t remember restaurants names but one was an Oyster bar the other Crab shack? We had She crab soup, shrimp boil, shrimp and grits, green fried tomatoes and hush puppies. I mean the best of the best. We went to the Blind Tiger for desert too. All in all the best way Savor Charleston! Ask for Dustin!
