So much fun in Frisco Square with Lone Star Food Tour!! Good people, good food, good “momma juice,” and I got a little exercise during the process. Each restaurant was better than the next! The zucchini and chorizo dish and margaritas at Chitos were out of this world! The interactive virtual experience at the National Soccer Hall of Fame was the icing on the cake! I was blown away at all of the engaging experiences offered…and I was able to go back and explore more after the food tour concluded! Ending at Pizzeria Testa with traditional Napoli style margarita pizza looking out over Frisco Square was divine…almost as divine as the thirst quenching sangria! Highly recommend this tour!

This event exceeded my expectations. It was a great mix of historical fun facts, tasty bites paired with interesting sips and a sprinkling of retail therapy. You can tell the organizers put a lot of thought into what locations and experiences to include and they hit the mark.

My favorite part of the tour was the excellent sampling of great foods from all the restaurants. We were able to taste pizza, steak, and Mexican cuisine in three different venues where the food was paired with two different wines and a margarita. Our tables were ready when we arrived at each location and the meal samples were served to our tour group within two minutes of our being seated. All the restaurant managers, chefs, and servers who greeted our party were happy to explain the foods we were tasting and answer all our questions.
