Downtown Vegas is where old meets new. This is where the city first began and has gone through many changes throughout the years. On this casual, walking food tour, you'll sample small bites at several popular local restaurants, visit must-see attractions, hear fun facts about the city, and learn about the Las Vegas local culture.

Make sure you have your walking shoes on! You'll start on one end of Fremont Street where you'll start your sightseeing and foodie tour sprinkled with bits of history. After visiting Fremont Street Experience, you'll wander off-the-beaten-path to discover where the locals go to eat and hang out.

I have done other food tours in Vegas, but this one has reset the bar. Kathryn was an incredible tour guide. She provided us not only scrumptious bites but a lot of little known history around town that I found helpful and informative. I had booked the downtown food tour, which was mainly focused around the Fremont area and Container Park. There were many places I simply never heard of, nor would have tried, if not for the tour honestly. That is one of the best things I love about food tours is finding those hidden gems. These are made much better when you have a tour guide who is passionate about what they do, and genuinely care about providing the best experience. I have had some where they just repeat the words, and literally do not give a care in the world making them as much fun as a visit to the dentist. Anyway, this tour was exceptional beginning to end. Honestly, I have done tours around the country, and this was one of the best organized and professional I have come across thus far. That really says something as a fellow business owner, I was impressed. Enough of that, and on to the eats: Las Vegas Kettle Korn: Fresh Squeezed Lemonade & Variety of Kettle Corn Pinches Tacos: Mexican Street Corn & Aquas Frescas Cheffini's: the Cheffini's Hot Dog Project BBQ: Chicken BBQ Sandwich + Project Chips Aloha Specialities: Spam Musabi Pizza Rock: The Cal Italia Pizza & Meatball Gold Spike/Fiddlestix: Irish Breakfast Milkshake As you can see, there is a nice variety of goodies for you to try. There are many I did not even know existed, much less would have stopped at. However, on my return visits to Vegas, I am will make a pit stop when in the area for a refresher. I really enjoyed this food tour. It was presented well with a solid variety of options that were delicious and gave you something a bit different than the norm in some of these cities. Kathryn really does care about the quality and it shows. I simply cannot recommend this tour/company enough!

I love food tours because it's a great way to try things that you never would have on your own. Not only did we have amazing food, but we learned about the businesses we visited along with the sites along the way. You can tell there are wonderful relationships built with the restaurants/shops and the employees serving us were all happy to see us. Wear your walking shoes and your fat pants, you are going to need them!
