Hosted by a local expert, you will learn about the fascinating history, folklore, culture, famous founders & current residents, the food scene and current events. This is a great experience for locals, those that have recently relocated, tourists, corporate retreats, birthday & other celebrations and bachelorette parties!

Tour groups of 10 or more are considered private tours-please call for booking. Our restaurant partners need plenty of advance notice for reserving tables for large groups. We are happy to personally work out the details on these experiences for you!

The guide obviously paid no attention to food allergies that had been shared with him before the tour. Also, he focused his attention on one participant, was ill-prepared and ignored weather alerts shared with him.

We are sorry about the experience you had on the tour. We support different restaurants on our tour that are Chef inspired... Our menu will change from tour to tour. We always make sure we reach out to our restaurants for allergies and receive confirmation from the chef before we start the tour.

Tommy did not tell restaurants about food allergies. Dangerous to patrrons. Also 5 people out of 11 did not eat sushi. Description of tour needed to reveal that sushi was included. Tour guide was not familiar with area and gave incorrect information. Ice cream was best food offered.

Ask for someone other than Tom (Tommy) for your tour guide. Our group of 6 has been on food tours in other cities, but this was the worst of them all. Our specific concerns: 1.) Even though 2 of our group had food allergies or a strong aversion to a short list of ingredients, our collective impression was that none of the establishments we visited had any knowledge of this at any time before we asked about ingredients. All this in spite of being specifically asked ahead of the tour about food allergies and preferences. 2.) Tom was inadequately prepared; he stumbled through notes about what we were seeing and was able to offer only limited information about Sarasota. 3.) Tom attempted to show old pictures of places and people on his tablet. The images were very hard to see because of glare on the dimly lit screen. 4.) Tom spent too much time talking about his skateboarding, his tennis, his cooking and catering, his linens, his tour experience in other cities, his ya-da, ya-da……..you get the idea. We passed Tom’s wife Kelley’s tour. Everyone in her tour seemed to be having more fun than we were in our group. We went to 4 restaurants and were generally pleased with the food offered. But if you claim to be preparing your food on-site, then you should know exactly what’s in each dish and Tom should have been much more concerned about this subject than he was.
