I knew this tour would be delicious when it started with Mattison's City Grill and a plate containing the best shrimp, fried green tomato, bruschetta, and calamari I've ever had. The only problem, was I was starving and finding it challenging to stop eating my food and anyone else's who couldn't finish theirs. I would be satisfied just staying in my seat until I couldn't move anymore. But more stops awaited. There was homemade guacamole and a Mongolia taco (my favorite) at Circo, sushi at Flirt, spicy shots and healthy appetizers at the Green Zebra Cafe, and exceptional gelato at Gelato-go. Good thing we were walking. Kelley and Levi were excellent hosts and guides, fascinating Sarasota historians, and personable people who loved food (like me). What's not to love?
