Explore the Everglades on an airboat adventure. This tour includes transportation, park entrance, airboat ride, the airboat tour, and free time to walk the park and see all the alligator exhibits. Have the chance to see alligators up close in their natural habitat, as well as the many exhibits scattered throughout the park. This half day tour departs twice daily at 9:30 and 1:30.

This was a great activity! The only downside is the bus ride is very long, and I don't believe this detail was communicated prior.

The airboat ride itself was pretty decent. My group was just disappointed that it was not as advertised. The tour description included going through mangrove tunnels, and we did not even see a mangrove area. The pictures included really green lush areas and that definitely was not where we went. The bus ride there/back had a great driver. But the air did not work on the second deck of the double decker bus—this made for a VERY uncomfortable ride. Our airboat guide was great! I wish I could give him a separate star rating—he’d get 5/5 (Captain Disco). The employees at the tour ticket office were pretty unhelpful—definitely no excitement for their jobs. And not knowledgeable about their tours. We booked this tour online and our receipt stated that it included the entry fee into the Everglades park. But upon checking in at the tour ticket office we were asked to pay an additional fee for the park entrance—the employees couldn’t explain why. Overall, it was a pretty underwhelming tour but not a total waste of money.

Travelers need to be informed that their is a 1 hour bus ride each way and that the actual air boat ride is less than 1/2 hour. We were very disappointed that we only spent 25 minutes in the air boat.
