We offer robust fat tire e-bikes which are perfectly suited for the gravel terrain of Acadia's Carriage Roads, providing ample comfort and stability. These automobile-free roads offer intimate access to Jordan Pond House, Eagle Lake, Day Mountain, the Rockefeller bridges, and much more. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as: Bald Eagles, Deer, Porcupine, and Beavers (ask our staff where to find their homes). Our four hour rentals allow adventurers and families alike to comfortably explore 20-30 miles of the park. To ensure you get the most out of your trip, we will provide a map guide and share our personal recommendations along with easy to follow directions to the trails.

Our first time on bikes and they gave us a quick and easy tutorial and we were on our way with map, water, helmets and our backpacks. We were blessed with a perfect afternoon weatherwise, it had rained that morning and was breezy and cloudy all afternoon. Perfect explanation of carriage road riding options and what we could expect in terms of difficulty and other riders. We had driven through the park and did Cadillac Mountain that morning so we had a general feel of the layout of the park. We saw other bike guided tours and were soooo glad we did our own, no waiting for others who were stragglers or were much faster or slower. We did the mountain loop, stopped at Jordan pond for popovers and a beer, did the Eagle Lake Loop, and Witch Hole loop. Came back with about 4 bars of power left. Great adventure and would do it again!

Great experience. The fat tire e-bike was in excellent shape and the battery was fully charged. I had never ridden one before, but the instructions were very easy. I was also given a map of Acadia National Park so I knew how to navigate. Despite that, I ended up being on the wrong side of the park when it was time to return my bike and I brought it back 10 to 15 minutes later than I was supposed to. When I was lost, I called the shop and talked to Brad. He was very helpful and gave me directions and he also decided to meet me to show me the way. I offered to pay for the additional time that I had the bike, but I was told it was not necessary. I highly recommend this business and this great biking experience.

Every one super helpful and friendly! Bikes were a lot of fun on the carriage trails but even with a map we got confused at times (so study Acadia map ahead of time).
