It was pouring and raining. I contacted Viator and was told I would get my money back. So I left. I called the company and and after hours guy told me to call the following day. He then text me the four wasn’t canceled and I was a no show! I went all the way there! Which was an hour for me. I called!! He then was very rude to me. He told me I was being dishonest and was with another party. When I told him again what happened he said you’re not getting your money back! I did the right thing and contacted before I left. I should have got my money back or at least a RAIN check! Don’t do it. You will regret it. It’s a lot of money to waste. I just wanted a nice thing to do with my son. I would have went if I knew they were still going (rain or not) it was lightening out. It was a storm. Regardless it was throwing money away and left a real bad taste In my mouth. Don’t do it!

Ma'am, your tour was w/Florida Adventurer, not Viator. If you were at the launch site, your guide would have canceled the tour and let you know you would receive a rain check that does not expire, as we do not refund for weather.
However, you did not call us, so when we reached out wanting to know where you were or if you were still coming, you said you were already 30 minutes away, that fine, but you missed your tour. We do not refund for guest who were a no show. You were issued a raincheck anyways. We will not refund you, you were a no show, regardless of the e, cause, you were not there for your tour.
It costs money to send a guide out to meet you, you were not there, correct? So we should pay for that trip, plus another trip to hope you show up on the 2nd try? That is not how we run our business. We ask you to be there 30minutes prior to your tour, regardless of weather, UNLESS you hear from US. We will do a 30 minute weather hold, typ) before we cancel any tour for weather. If we can not get your tour out inside those 30 minutes, we will cancel the tour, and offer a later option if your schedule allows, if not, we offer rainchecks only.
Unfortunately, you decided to call a 3rd party, who you booked your tour through instead of us, and requested a refund. We provide the 3rd party our cancelation policies, there are procedures/requirements that must be followed, to obtain a refund/raincheck. Those procedures were not followed, hence why you did not get a refund.
You have a raincheck that is good until you use it.
You will need to call Florida-adventurer to reschedule your tour ma'am.
