Zac was an outstanding guide, so knowledgeable and passionate about local wildlife facts. We spotted a blue crab, racoon, flying fish, blue heron. Highly recommended!

Our instructor was late, took forever setting up to get us on the water, turned into a cluster F*&^ right from the get go with people floating every which way. Once collected, he wastes substantial time talking about crabs / animals / random facts instead of paddling (just sitting in the kayak waiting) Then he proceeds to take off way in front of everyone and didn't do any due diligence to check on his group, (Since he was the first one to the spot and took everyone wayyyyy longer to get there since he decided to pick the worst spot through the main current) Then we only went up 1-2 small channel ways (with more stopping and talking) and then back to our starting point. We didn't even get any bioluminescence experience AS ADVERTISED, nor was anything said about this from our instructor. Don't Recommend.

Hello, Thanks for paddling with us. Looking at the tour notes from that day, we called to let you know that your guide was running late, through no fault of his own. We have several spots that we will paddle to/thru. During these paddles we will stop and talk about the nature, refuge, SpaceX and other points of interest on our land. Reading your review, it appears you were expecting summertime dinoflagellate bioluminescence in bioluminescent Comb-jellyfish season. We advertise bioluminescence year round. We also advertise when to see the bioluminescence you're expecting to see. As advertised on our website.. We also advertise on our website that we cannot guarantee nature/Wildlife due to the complexity and uncontrollabilty of organisms in nature. If it was windy on the water sometime, that can have a dimming effect on the bioluminescence this time of year. There are many factors completely out of our control that can come into play to where nature doesn't cooperate. We appreciate that sometimes guest(s) assume we can control nature, but unfortunately it is not the case. Had you called, we would of been happy to issue you a raincheck, unless of course you were less than polite to our staff on site/phone. Florida Adventurer guarantees a great time. We can not guarantee wildlife. Reading your review however, it appears the guide did everything they could to ensure you had the best time the situation would allow. We would not have issues d a refund for this. We would have gladly offered a rain check that is good u til you use it. The offer still stands😊

Guides were great. The photo in the company's Viator page is misleading, despite the disclaimer of peak season. We did this March 22nd 2023 and barely saw any bioluminescence activity. Kayaking was cool, but it should not be advertised as bioluminescence your during off season. Thinking about asking for my money back.

If you purchased a tour based on pictures and did not read about the tour prior to purchase then that makes total sense, as we clearly state the seasons on the website, and what you will see in each season. We appreciate the 1 star for your oversight and our great guides. See you again soon.
