Enjoy a full day of wine and scenic Hill Country sights from San Antonio. The day starts with pick up from your downtown/Riverwalk area hotel as we head northwest of the city into the Hill Country region of Texas. This region is home to the continually growing Texas wine region with nearly 90 wineries in the area. On this tour we will visit three local wineries and include a two hour visit to the charming town of Fredericksburg (approx. 70mi from San Antonio). While visiting Fredericksburg, guests will have time to freely explore the town, enjoy some shopping, and have lunch on their own. This tour includes all guests basic wine tasting fees.

This was an outstanding experience! Matt was a great guide - very flexible, informative, and friendly! We learned a lot about the wine making process and enjoyed all if the wineries we visited. It was especially awesome that Matt tailored our stop to our personal wine preferences.

We did this tour with Diane from Cottonwood tours. She is very knowledgeable about the vineyards we visited. The tour was more than sipping wine. We learned about the processing, packaging, and what grapes were grown here. already generations of families at certain wineries. she was a great tour guide about san antonio and the Fredericksburg areas. we had plenty of time at each stop. lunch was great. Would recommend this tour with 5 stars.
