We had a great time trout fishing with JJ. It is a beautiful section of river. It was slow start but JJ was able to put us on fish. We lost count of the number of fish caught. Gear and instruction were good. We fished from the boat and the banks. It was a great day. Highly recommend!

I recently had an absolute amazing experience with Matt who works with JJ at Kenai river trout anglers. He absolutely loves fishing, the Kenai river and has the rare ability to transfer that knowledge to increase fish count. My son and I had some fly fishing experience prior, which didn’t matter. Matt had us dialed in on how the Kenai river fishes best in no time. You quickly realize he has a passion for the small details that quickly increased our fish count.
