The trip between the plantation and swamp tour was unorganized. We could not hear the driver. We had no idea what bus we would take back.

Everything about this tour was excellent. Although the drive there is a little bumpy if you’re in the back of the bus, they take you to the plantation first where you can make your way around the exhibits before a guided tour of the house. There is then more time to go around the exhibits and gardens and to visit the very lovely gift shop and sample some of their goods or buy lunch in the cafe before getting back on the bus to go to the swamp. The swamp tour was incredible, our captain Trey was amazing. He was super knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining! We saw quite a few alligators in the water and even some cows on the banks! It was stunning and a really great experience wouldn’t 100% recommend

It was a cold day in February, so conditions were less than ideal for a swamp tour, but captain Dewey made sure we had a great time and our visit to the swamp was the highlight of our trip to Nola.
