We just got back from the 4 night/5 day Main Salmon rafting trip. This outfit is top notch. Our guides were truly wonderful professionals, but also really fun to hang out with! They played with our kids, played with us, made us incredible food, taught us history along the trip, and more! They own multiple properties along the river, including a chance to sleep in beds and take a shower mid-trip! All the gear is top notch, newer, clean, and well maintained. They had various ways we could go down the river, from the main rafts, to inflatable kayaks, etc. We brought our 7, 9, and 11 year old daughters and were a little nervous about how that would work out, but we always felt safe with our expert guides. Might be the start of a repeated family tradition!

First and foremost- our guide Brant- was stellar. He knows the river and expertly navigated us through some exciting whitewater. He took good care of his clients. My daughter (13 yrs old) and son (17 yrs old) had a blast- the excitement and adrenaline rush was just what we needed. Despite a few chilly moments for a July 1 river adventure, the sun warmed us throughout most of our whitewater journey. I strongly recommend MRO. Great customer service at the shop too. Tip of the hat to Sunshine who guided the second boat- can't go wrong with either guide. A truly memorable outing- and one of the best whitewater river experiences we've had in a long awhile.

Our guide Lonny was very personable, she was knowledgeable, proficient and calming. Not only did she do an exceptional job at rafting, but she prepared and served a nice lunch, assured that everyone felt included and brightened the day with her update and kind demeanor. We will be coming back to Riggins with the whole family to take another rafting adventure. Thank you very much for a memorable day.
