Due to an scheduling error on our part, we were unable to do a half day raft trip that we had booked with Mountain River Outfitters. Brenda was kind enough to offer several other dates to us, but the only date that worked for us, MRO did not have a trip going. they could have just keep our money, but instead they scheduled an extra trip so that we could enjoy rafting down the Salmon. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service. and the rafting was great!

This company is professional, genuine and friendly. My twin 13 year old sons and I had a fantastic time. We signed up for the 2 half day trips one on horseback and the other whitewater rafting on the Snake. I would suggest you do the horseback riding first then raft the snake. We had class 2 thou class 4 rapids our boat everyone hung on. LOL They supply waterguns for the calm waters to add to the experience. The safety, scenery, excitement, fun and company made for one our best family vacations.

My wife and I spent 3 days of our 14-day honeymoon on a whitewater rafting trip down the Snake River. The rafting was awesome, the food was excellent (and high-class and plentiful), the views were incredible, and our 4 guides (Elizabeth, Austin, Jesse, and Molly) were consummate professionals. We had an absolute blast and cannot wait to return! The guides were extremely knowledgeable about rafting in general (duh), how to read water (Austin, our boat guide), Hells Canyon history (Jesse and Elizabeth), Hells Canyon geology (Molly is a professor at U of Montana), cooking (all of them), fishing (Elizabeth put us on a boatload of bass and Jesse led the charge on landing a 6.5-foot sturgeon), and paddle-boarding and duckieing (not a word). The guides were professional, full of positive energy, always smiling, and (this is an understatement) extremely hard-working. I can't say enough about how great they were. They made what would be an awesome trip down the river absolutely unforgettable. Can't wait to do this trip (or a longer one) again.
