After staying in St. George's for a couple of days, I saw this tour and jumped on it! My boyfriend & I were looking for a great experience in order to learn more about the Spice Isle. What an amazing tour!! We had a FANTASTIC tour guide, Michael, who was quite possibly the friendliest person we met on the island and he was one of the highlights of the tour. He was an amazing driver (because honestly we didn't want to have to rent a car ourselves, the roads of Grenada require a skilled & experienced driver) and he did a great job navigating around the island. Best bargain for your money, this all day tour takes you to 6 out of the 7 provinces of Grenada (the 7th consists of Carriacou & Petite Martinique). If you are looking for a way to see parts of the island you're not staying in, this tour is a good option. Michael picked us up at a resort near our Airbnb at 8:40 am and we were dropped back off around 5pm or so.
The tour consisted of travels to the Concord waterfall, the nutmeg Factory, the chocolate factory, an included buffet lunch at Helena's, then a tour & sampling of the River Antoine Rum factory and finally to the Grand Etang lake through the rain forest.
Can't stress enough how great this experience was, no worries, a stress-free experience amongst other friendly tourists in a comfortable air conditioned bus. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to all first timers to Grenada. Michael did a great job explaining the history, politics, culture, current events and more!
This tour is one of our favorite memories of our recent trip to Grenada.
