Terry was amazing, absolutely wonderful guide. Still a bit of a nonbeliever but thoroughly enjoy this kind of stuff and all the stories. We loved being able to use the investigative equipment; my sister and I especially love getting the ovilus (?). My sister even got a few orbs in pictures. I liked the small tour size, felt a little more personal. We loved the tour and our experience and would definitely like to do again.

After reading the description of this tour I was excited to spend $75 for 3 of us to go ghost hunting with real equipment and hear ghost stories/hauntings for 2 hours. Our guide was enthusiastic in the beginning and engaging throughout the tour. Our tour guide told a racist joke at the beginning that I didnt appreciate at all. -Mind you I felt spiritually moved about the idea of prayer about to be said "A older native man gave us this prayer to say before our tour so to protect us, we will go ahead and pray, she said: Repeat after me:"Ahopoa" 2(x) we did repeated the very native sounding language. The punchline was "Ihoppa get you befor it gets me". I believe this tour has potential, "knowing your lines" is key in acting. As long as the tour guide has studied their scripted ghost/haunting stories (each story told on this tour) and the group pays attention, the guide has proper training and guidelines to follow along with An accurate description of the tour listed on partner/sponsored sites in detail. Management needs to display more mature, serious response to guests opinions and not take reviews personally. We did get a lot of device activity during the 2 hour walk, including 10 pages of words from the electronic word translator- or which ever the proper name for the devise is - captured during our tour. However because our tour guide wasnt confident in her speech delivery or delivering the story accurately, we spent more time listening to scrambled storylines than using the devices properly or to their full potential. Like speaking to ghosts by combining devices. I hardly knew what she was talking about for long. But everyone has bad days and I am greatful to have been apart of the tour. I believe it could be much much greater if tour guides are thoroughly informed and knowledgeable about the job they are doing, attention to detail is key. If your employees rely on tips for most of their wages (like their official buissness website states) then management shouldnt ensure employees are given the proper tools to carry out their duties as ghost and haunted tour guides, not just guides. Has great potential, needs TLC. Would recomend fully researching ghost/haunted tours before buying. $12 should be the ticket price per person, not $25. Baised on personal experience. At first you said the guide was enthusiastic and engaging. great! you finished by saying it was a fun experience, you were thrilled and creeped out. Sounds like a 5 star review! in between you went on to say the guide told a racist joke. This joke was told to me personally by a native Cherokee man. Some people can can laugh at themselves some can't. It was demeaning to no one as such I don't think it was racist at all, sometimes it seams some people look to find racism in everything. In the years that story has been told you are the first to take offense. You said a lot of things that I disagree with, I won't go into them all but we will continue to run our tour in a respectful hopefully fun manner and take all reply's seriously and those that we feel are warranted we will make tweaks if we can, sometimes we can't due to rules in Gatlinburg. Feel free to run your business the way you see fit and we will do the same.

We had a small group of two families which I really liked. We learned a lot of history via great story telling. We had fun and the ghost hunting tools were an added bonus.
