I was expecting more ghost stories and haunted history of Gatlinburg. There was some of that, but mostly it was about past tours and the paranormal activities they experienced. I wasn't expecting to see a ghost or anything, but it would've been nice to hear actual stories instead of a bunch of baloney about places that MIGHT be haunted.

Chris C, so in your opinion, these weren't actual stories? what constitutes Baloney in your mind? We don't care if you believe or don't, we try very hard to entertain and inform on History and yes, we tell ghost stories. I don't understand your point?

Very informative. Enjoyed it. Would have liked to have seen the equipment integrated more in the tour. Would be great if there was some way to share pics in a forum if anything was spotted in pictures.

My family attended this ghost tour last evening. My daughter attended this tour last month with a different guide and comparing our experiences we are truly disappointed. Yes we had the equipment and yes we had words popping up and the blue light going off but when we told the tour guide he either shrugged it off or made a joke about it. Also a couple of the stories that were told were not the name as the story my daughter heard. My daughter had way more experiences then we did. She also was allowed to go to certain places on the tour we were not. Such as up to the church with the red door, her tour was allowed all the way up to it, we were not. I guess I just expected more from what her experience and I guess it's all in who your tour guide is

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your experience however I don't think your review was very fair for a few reasons. What would you have liked your guide to say when the words popped up and or the lights went off? we don't necessarily know what a word means all the time, sometimes we have a good idea sometimes we don't. We have different guides and we have different stories, and because they are different people they are told a little differently (although all our guides are wonderful storytellers) We have a number of people who come back repeatedly and enjoy different guides so they can get different stories. As for experiences, that changes night to night, we can take you to these places tell you the stories but we can't make anything happen for you although it does sound like there was some activity based on your comments. As for the church, it is an active church and we have recently been asked by them not to go right up to the church and while we can and do get very close (to the same spot that picture was taken at the red door for example) we can not go on their property after being asked not to.
