Thank you to Johnny at McCarthy River Outfitters for a great trip from start to finish! Our family had a wonderful time kayaking on Kennicott Glacier Lake and learned a lot about the McCarthy area. Amanda was an fabulous guide. She explained all the safety guidelines and tips, making for an enjoyable experience for our family. She was knowledgeable, shared tidbits of information, and joined in the fun with our group.

4 of us had a fantastic day with Amanda on the Kennicott Lake Kayak Trip. We took our own snacks and warm socks and they provided dry suits and footwear. We paddled happily around the glacial lake while Amanda shared her knowledge of the area, history and geology, we got out for a bit and had a snack then back in the kayaks. It was just our group and we decided to cut the paddle a little short and go floating in our dry suits in the "swimming hole". We had a marvelous time and enjoyed spending it with Amanda.
