All up I think these passes are great if you already want to do a number of the included attractions. We wanted to do the Brice canyon tour as well as the hoover dam tour and each alone was a few hundred dollars or so, so we felt we would easily get our money's worth from a three day pass (and we would have).
The app and website advises that most of the attractions need to be booked in advance. We decided to do the Brice canyon trip as our day 1 activity and as it departed at 5:30 am and Gocity said we needed to book it in advance, we did.
I booked it maybe a week before getting to Vegas through the gocity app link and out ticket via email clearly shows the day of the tour, that it a go city booking and the day the booking was made. all good so far.
All went well with that and some local Vegas strip attractions on day 2. Went to book the hoover dam tour and the app said our pass had expired?! we had another day to go! looking in the app "history" saw that it recorded that we went on our Brice canyon tour a day early? We weren't even in Vegas that day.
Then the fun began. Contacted Go city "we will need to contact the vendor to confirm the day you went", ok, " we will be in touch in 24 to 48 hours. 5 days later, no word so rang again, same story "the vendor has not replied, we will be in touch in 24 to 48 hours" didn't believe them at this point, rang again 5 days later "oh, you didn't buy this off us, sorry there is nothing we can do about it, contact the third party supplier" mmm, might have said that to begin with? Asked to talk to a manager as we were out of pocket some $200 for a day not used, but that was refused, told I would be contacted by a manager within 24 to 48 hours (heard that one before), no one called back.
I contacted Groupon, the company I got the tickets through with a 10% (i think) discount and after one call and a days wait I got a full refund on our two tickets. Well done Groupon, very poor service GoCity!
As I said, these are worth it if you planned to do a number of the attractions anyway, but do not book anything a few days ahead and do not expect any joy from the service team. (and maybe buy through Groupon as they will follow up way better than gocity if there are issues)
Interesting to now read other reviews saying this has happened to them so words of warning and maybe gocity needs to have a look at themselves!
