The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

Just got back from a great Labor Day weekend. We rode the Grand Canyon Railway out to the park. We booked what we could get and got lucky with the steam engine. Remember to take pictures of it. Your friends won't believe that it exists let alone pulls a train. Pray you get "Tom" as your car attendant. He really makes the trip. Anyone can serve drinks and snacks, but Tom will enhance the rest of your day and possible your whole trip.

Great way to get to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Relaxing 2 hour trip each way with some entertainment on both coming and going. Very friendly and informative staff. Glad we did not buy the first class seats, not sure they are worth it.
