The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

We had a great time...a family trip with multiple generations. We paid for the first class, which I feel was worth it, especially for Mark, our cabin person who provided great service (and mixed great drinks). Our grandson was celebrating a third birthday, which we thought he would enjoy celebrating on the train..., and he loved it. The cowboy show and train robbery was a bit hokey, but if the kids enjoy it...go for it. At the end of the day, our grandson loved the train ride...and we think he saw the Grand Canyon.

Did one way trip from Williams to Grand Canyon, just caught end of ‘wild west’ show which was nearby, but everyone seemed to be enjoying it. We were just in standard carriage, singer came around and the ‘sheriff’. We were given some facts and stories along the way, which was interesting. The scenery is not particularly exciting and we didn’t see any wildlife, however it was nice relaxing way to travel to the canyon and would recommend if you like trains.

We were there for a model railroad convention, so had our own entire train, with four cars. We had a great time, with entertainment, and snacks and drinks available. Depended on the package, ie. pullman, first class etc., Beautiful scenery. Great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and fun, and energetic. Definitely a must for any train buff, families, and anyone who doesn't want to have to drive back and forth.
