The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

The train staff was disengaged with the exception of the one-man band. The speakers were intermittent so you could hear all the announcements. The ride is about an hour too long (they should drive faster). The windows were all streamed up so you could see or take photos. There was screaming people the whole ride. The Wild West show was also a dud. Bad joke, didn’t maintain character. The upside is that it was easy to find and enter the park.

This was a nice ride though the back country. We had a lovely tour guide/drink server, 24 years at the job. We also had a gentleman named Tater sing us a few country train songs. We enjoyed him. End of Feb, Train was not full, easy to walk around, sit where you wanted, but we were up in the dome. Our fellow passengers were also lovely. It was worth the trip, to the Grand Canyon, a winter wonder this week.

This was truly the best anniversary experience that we and my wife has ever had. The entertainment, the staff, the food was best of the best. The tourguides were amazing. The most romantic time of our lives. I thought it would be good but had no idea this good. The best train ride of our lives. Book this trip and you will be blown away. Thanks to all the staff. We definitely will be back.
