[Best Valued 3-Hour Experience. All tour guides use large 11" x 17" photos to add richness to your experience] This tour introduces the Legends of Sept. 11th, Capt. Jonas & Ladder 6. These NYC firefighters were part of an effort that saved over 500,000 lives. The tour visits the Sept.11th Memorial Plaza, where the Reflecting Pools, Survivor Tree and Museum are located.

Learn the events surrounding Operation Aegis, the largest rescue by sea in history. Next, we'll visit the rebuild Winter Garden and the Fountain of Tears Memorial, dedicated to the 11 American Express employees lost on that day. The tour concludes inside the new WTC complex, where details of its design and construction are revealed. In addition, you'll learn about the Survivor Tree, survival, and rebirth. All tours are in small groups with a maximum of 25 adults.

Access to the highest Observatory in the western hemisphere is included with this package. All guests must check through security.

Christopher was a wonderful tour guide. He was well versed about the history of 9/11. He had a great speaking voice and made the tour so pleasant. Christopher even took pictures for me so I could be in all the pics! He’s a good photographer as well as a tour guide. I “thought” my tour included the museum fee also. However, we did not get to go to the museum which was a disappointment. My response to that is just be careful and get everything you want your tour to include when you sign up. All in all I would say this tour is very worthwhile and worth the money.

Excellent and knowledgeable guide. And when our cab got stuck in traffic coming from up north (Central Park), Christopher back tracked himself to get us in the group. But . Somehow when booking, I missed that this is a WALKING tour. We're from LA and.. we don't walk. The muscle aches lasted the rest of my stay in New York City.

I wanted to teach my 14 year old grandson about 9/11 without being too scary. This tour was perfect and I also learned a ton of new stuff. In addition to seeing the highlights, we learned about the heroism and grit of the everyone involved, especially the First Responders.
