I highly recommend this company for a beginner's lesson. My 10 year old daughter and I (42 year old woman) had a blast and were very successful with catching our own waves by the end. Mikey and Sophia were great teachers and VERY patient. They will help assist in your utter success by pushing you into a wave. They are a smaller shop next to a very large shop, but they are no less enthusiastic and knowledgable. An added bonus, they had a photographer IN THE WATER who you could buy the entire shoot from. It was worth every penny. *if you send your children in without you-make it clear this is dangerous and they NEED to listen to every warning the instructors give them. We had some non-listeners and someone got hurt. This was no fault of the instructors-they took it very serious but they can't be everywhere at once. LISTENING is crucial*

We had the absolute best experience surfing with Mike today. He explained everything well and we were able to catch wave after wave! This is a must do in Maui! We loved that they had some action pictures too!

Our family of seven signed up for a semi-private group lesson and began at the 8:00 am start time. Carlos and Sasaan were absolutely awesome to work with. Altogether, we were 40-something parents with teenagers and a 7 year old and those guys had every single one of us surfing within the first hour. A highlight of the trip.
