Anything outdoors in Sedona is incredible, so we jumped at the chance to get out on ATV's and experience it!
The guides were wonderful and had lots of interesting info, as well as tips for safety, etc. We did have a great time and got some great pictures!
Expectations/experiences:
1) You WILL get very dusty (they give you a bandana to cover your mouth/nose, as well as goggles to cover your eyes). They also have a blower to dust you off back at the office when you return....we were still very dusty!
2) Even though it's "3 hours", you will be on the ATV's for almost 25 miles---that's a long trip (and we ATV at home/ride motorcycles all of the time).
3) While it's touted as okay for someone who has never ridden an ATV before, there are some areas that are quite challenging (inclines/declines that are very rocky). All were manageable for the group, but if you have someone that's nervous about the experience, may want to rethink.
4) The turnaround point has some amazing views and good photo oppts! You will NOT be surrounded by red rock the entire time (my initial assumption).
5) The ATV's are pretty dated. Suspension was pretty rough. Brakes and tires need serious attention.
Overall, a super fun day. Some of the bikes need some serious attention.
