Join our Eco Kayak Tour led by our fun herpetologist guide who will keep you entertained during the entire tour! This tour is designed for kids and adults, and we welcome all skill levels, from beginner to advanced kayakers! You will be guided on a two hour tour through the mangrove tunnels where the guide will share important information about the local ecosystem and history of the area. While paddling through the peaceful serene waters that make The Rookery Bay and the Ten Thousand Islands ecosystem, you will encounter different species of birds and small creatures that live in this pristine subtropical mangrove forest estuary. Rookery Bay National Estuarine Reserve represents one of the few remaining undisturbed mangrove estuaries in North America.
At the end fo your tour you will receive the pictures that guide will take during the tour!

This tour allows guests 4 years of age and up.

Wonderful tour just north of Marco Island. Seven of us enjoyed this 2.5 hour tour with Captain Marco - yes his real name. He is a certified naturalist and very knowledgeable about the echo system around rookery Bay. Our skill level ranged from expert to never kayaked before, and we all enjoyed the trip tremendously. We forgot water and they even went out and bought us some before embarking. We highly recommend this tour!

Loved this experience! Marco was an excellent guide through the mangroves. He was very knowledgeable of the location and had many local stories of how the mangroves came to be and the nature along the tour. I would definitedly do this again if I was on Marco Island.

My college roommate and I joined guide Marco on our kayak through the bay and mangroves during low tide. Marco was so nice and very knowledgeable on the wildlife, shells and history of the island. We had a wonderful time and hope to return with my husband and do it all again!
