It's not often that you can visit a winery in the heart of a city! Berkeley has been home to what we call 'urban wineries' for almost 20 years. Although these producers don't own any vineyards of their own, they work directly with grape growers from all around northern California.

It is important to note that I am very selective about my choice of wines and wineries. With thousands of wineries in the state, many small, fine wine oriented producers are overlooked by large scale industrial operations. I like to champion true artisans and support small businesses!

Loved tasting wine on this tour. If you have few hours in town, you should definitely experience this to understand californian wines more. After this tour, You would be able to make better buying decisions with wine

We went on one of Elisabeth’s tours in Napa and liked it so much that we decided to book this Berkeley experience since we are close by in the south bay. It was another great experience, we had delicious wines and it was really cool to explore the winery district in the middle of a city!
