Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/2 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/2 miles back to your kayak (3 miles of hiking round trip). TRAIL CONDITIONS CAN VARY DEPENDING ON WEATHER. THERE WILL BE 4 RIVER CROSSINGS WITH LOOSE ROCKS IN RIVER BED THAT YOU WILL NEED TO CROSS AND UNPAVED TRAIL ON YOUR TREK TO THE WATERFALL. AND KEEP IN MIND YOU WILL CROSS THEM ON THE TREK BACK AS WELL. FOOTWEAR IS COMPLETELY SUBMERGED IN WATER DURING YOUR ADVENTURE. Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

We had a great time and loved experiencing a different part of the island. I forgot the name of our tour guide, she has long brown hair and younger. She was very nice and friendly, I just have feedback that may help her down the line. She would show something to the front of the group and then the people in the back wouldn’t be able to hear what was said. So maybe waiting for the whole group to get there so we can all hear about the small details would be nice. Also, she would be way ahead and then I felt like we almost would get left behind if we didn’t keep up. Going down some slippery rocks and it seemed like she would’ve had no idea if we fell. Not totally her fault, I almost feel like these kind of tours should have two tour guides just for that reason. But overall, super beautiful and we had a great time. Like others said, it is muddy and slippery, and honestly I would recommend wearing hiking water shoes if you can. Water shoes themselves didn’t have the best grip.

This was our first time to the island of Kauai we had a few tours lined up for the week we were here. On June 7th on the 7;15 we did the Kayak tour it was suggested by a co worker who was here last November. We were not disappointed at all it was all it was described from their website and more. Our guide name was Sierra I knew she was going to be good when she came out to talk to us she was spunky smiling and wearing a Montana Griz hat. While I am sure all the tour guides are good Sierra being local was very passionate on the history of the area and full of knowledge on plants birds etc. She took the time stopping and explaining along the way. What interesting is I sent a text to my co worker that night come to find out he had her as his guide also. Thanks Matt & Mary Fitterer

Kayaking along the Wailua River and hiking to the magnificent Secret Falls was an incredible experience. Thomas was the best tour guide we'd ever had on any adventure. You will instantly fall in love with his charming personality and knowledge of all things Kauai. This tour is both a learning experience and everything you can imagine in the way of beauty. Thomas also prepared a delicious picnic lunch for us to share, and I believe this is the ONLY trip that has this added Hawaiian touch. You can swim to the magnificent Secret Falls once you arrive. I recommend doing the early am trip because it is less busy and the falls are less muddy. We were there with other tours, so I can't emphasize this enough. If you have a choice, use Rainbow Kayaking! Thank you Thomas and team!
