This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/2 miles back to your kayak (3 miles of hiking round trip). TRAIL CONDITIONS CAN VARY DEPENDING ON WEATHER. THERE WILL BE 4 RIVER CROSSINGS WITH LOOSE ROCKS IN RIVER BED THAT YOU WILL NEED TO CROSS AND UNPAVED TRAIL ON YOUR TREK TO THE WATERFALL. Such a great time! In all honesty, the hike was a bit more strenuous than we expected, but we made it and the waterfall was worth it. Depending on the recent rainfall, the trail can be very muddy and slick, as ours was. Just knowing that going in and being prepared can make a difference. Our guide Thomas was excellent, and had tons of knowledge about the area.

What I want to say is how much I appreciate the fact that they cancelled our tour when we got to check in because of heavy rains and for safety reasons. Disappointed, yes, but the guides told us about Hoopii falls (which we went to and was great) and gave us an immediate refund and our lunch and waters. Book direct with Rainbow Kayak and save.

A picture perfect day. Felt like we were paddling on a lake rather than a river (no complaints here). The hike was dry and easy. The falls are absolutely beautiful. Our guide Zack was awesome! Very knowledgeable, motivating and funny. If you can request him you will not be disappointed and maybe a bit surprised.
