This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

We chose an afternoon adventure and the weather turned out to be spectacular. The process was simple and all staff were friendly and helpful. Our raft guide, Alyssa, was a wealth of information and wit. This scenic float is a very relaxing trip, fun for any age participant. Several of us braved the optional cliff jump, with no regrets the cold water does take one's breath away!

This is a great float for the family with small kids. It gives you a taste of fast water without the worry of them falling out of the raft. Beautiful scenery. The guide was great and the company, AVA, was well run and organized.
