Amazing experience that we won't forget. If you've never been snorkling, this is the place to do it! We tried several times to book online but tickets were gone in 5-10 minutes. We decided to book a tour with Kamina Tours - they get you in without hassle at the front of the line, otherwise, you'd have to get there at 4am to line up. Originally I thought the entry tickets were included, but they are NOT. Makes it somewhat expensive but still worth it.

Hanauma Bay is beautiful, no doubt about that. My experience with the company that I arranged this with was not very good. They were not friendly. I texted them shortly after I arrived that my snorkel did not work. It just let lots of water into the snorkel and into my mouth. It was unusable, so I had to rent one there. Another customer in the van ride home complained about the same exact thing. I told the driver about it, he ignored what I had to say and told me it worked fine. The driver also gave me a huge life vest that even at its tightest, went way over my shoulders in the water and was twisting around my body as I snorkeled/swam. My experience at Hanauma Bay was great, I highly recommend going, however I do not recommend going with Kaimana Tours, look for another company that cares.

Aloha and thanks for your feedback, So we have reached out to the other parties to confirm whether they had any issues with the equipment and they said their wasn’t any issues with there’s. We did mention to call out to the office if for some reason there was a problem with the mask or snorkel so we could run you a new set. We didn’t receive a text message, it’s better at times to call so you can speak with someone and make sure the message gets across. We try our best to give out quality equipment but certain times there are issues that occur on the sets so that’s why we urge everyone to check it before they go off to snorkel. If hamauna bay was heaven this people would be the pilots to get you in. Getting the Reservation ticket is almost impossible for this place so this people can get you one and that is the reason I gave two stars . Why did I kept the rest of the three stars is because they would take every opportunity to pull your money. We took the 8 AM shuttle and we have arrived in there at about 9:30 AM. I am not sure why they haven't expressed that their return time is earlier that the time the nature reserve closes . The driver told us the return was at 1:30 which didn't actually made us happy because we planned to stay until the end. Any way for our suffering to get worse we missed the shuttle. The lady said we should have been there by 1:15 PM. The lady with out any sense of feeling sorry just told to return the items we have rented from them . She offered us a shuttle that would leave at 3:00 PM and we still had to pay extra $10. I was surprised we had to pay $10 for a 6 mnts drive but we had no choice. I did ask them to get us to our hotel and we would pay the required fee but they were not willing. We really didn't know we're to go and it was hard for us to get uber driver until finally we got uber with 20 mnts wait. I believe it is not appropriate to leave a vlient you have picked up in the middle of a no where with almost no transportation service. Even though me missed the shuttle , they should have still provde option for a visitor to catch up with another shuttle. Not a good deed to leve a clinet who doesn't know the city to be by himself.

Aloha, We have all the messages that show that you arrived there before 9:00am, your pick up was at 7:40 am. The driver asked the whole group to be ready by 1:15 pm, and everyone was there ready inside the van. He waited an extra 18 minutes for you. He called you so many times before he left the bay and there was no call back from you, he waited until 1:33pm and left. Customers inside the shuttle were complaining already because they made it on time for the return and you did not ( leaving the driver in a very difficult situation). The shuttle that was offered for you to return our items, belongs to the shopping center(a sister company) but had no association with our company. The shuttle was offered to help you out since Ubers and Lyfts do not pick up at the bay, you would have to walk a 25-40 min walk to deliver the items you rented. The lady on the phone was just trying helping you out, not take any advantages since we didn’t collect any money. We didn’t have another shuttle option after 1:15 pm, since you did the 8:00 am transportation. Sorry about your experience, but we tried our best to not leave you behind but you only called at 1:50pm which is already 20 mins past the 1:30 time you claimed he said.
