Although it does feel like a bit of a circus, there is a payoff....the snorkeling is fantastic, from easily accessible with a option for a challenge. Yes we had to get the teenagers up at 5:00 am, no there are no coffee shops open at that time. Buy a can of coffee from an ABC Store the night before. By the time we hustled into the shuttle and waited for the sun to rise, got the 30 minute introduction to the Marine Preserve and caught a second shuttle to the beach, everyone in the family was ready. The quality of the snorkeling experience is in the number and diversity of fishes that you see, and with a marine preserve there are fish everywhere from 2 feet of water to 12 feet of water. Pack light, bring extra sunscreen, spend all the time in the water.
