Malahini Tours was fabulous with Leolani Noeau as our guide. She went the extra mile and was very knowledgeable. She asked what we wanted to see and gave us options.

Mount Kilauea was amazing and the lava tubes were incredible. I’m glad we had a guide, Leia, who took us straight to the best spots. Leia also took us to a local coffee mill, by the local farmers’ market and dropped us back in Hilo. Unfortunately, the orchid farm was closed (covid), as was the macadamia nut farm, which sounds like it may be a permanent closure. Had those been open, it would have been 5 stars

Aloha folks, I apologize for the delayed response. I’m so glad you folks decided to choose Malahini Tours and I could show you a decent time. I am happy to say, that the Macadamia factory is going to be reopening soon. Renovations have held them up for quite a while. I hope to hear from you folks or even see you folks return to Hawaii.
