We opted to do the Urban Enslavement tour, which I understand is currently one of the optional tours in October, and we were SO GLAD we did.
The tour focused on the daily lives of enslaved women, men, and children who worked at the Hermann-Grima house, their daily tasks, and how they differed from that of slaves who worked the rural plantations.
You'll also learn about a little bit of what it was like living in the French Quarter back in the day.
If you're in the French Quarter, I strongly recommend it if you can get tickets.
