A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

We had a wonderful time on this family outing. Jamie and Stacy were fantastic tour guides answering the many questions of our children ages 10 - 6. Highly recommend.

Once again another thrilling trip with Capt. Dave's. Took some visiting family members and everyone had a great time out on the water. Didn't see whales this time, but lots of dolphins and the onboard educator (Caitlyn) was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Great trip out.

My sis and BIL came from the other side of the country to visit and whale watch, and we were lucky enough to have Stacey and Will leading us in our adventure. I go out a lot and I absolutely love how excited Stacey gets when we see an animal. Her joy is totally contagious and create a familial, exciting atmosphere, while at the same time Wills wonderful narratives about what is unfolding before us provides the perfect complement. They are an astounding team. Oh, we also saw a gray whale, a very show-offy mola mola and common and bottlenose dolphins, in addition to the requisite sea lions. A great day, as always. Thanks!
