Went on a Holland America Excursion. We were the last of 3 wagons on a VERY dusty, rough track with scenery that was not particularly enthralling (especially after touring Denali). Couldn't look forward for the dust or out the sides of the clouded plastic sides of the wagon. Our guide was horrible, she was a local but she could not complete a sentence or thought. We did not take this excursion to hear her life story that had nothing to do with living in Alaska. The food was terrible. Chicken leg small and over-cooked, ribs were fatty, very small piece of salmon that was over cooked. Salads were ok but not abundant. Service and drinks were very sporadic. And if you have ANY food restrictions or needs do not take this tour. Very disappointing. HIGHLY NOT recommended.

We did the last tour of the day at 6:00 pm. This is a must do even if the dinner wasn’t included. The horses are so elegant and powerful. The ride is about an hour long. The dinner was fantastic. It included macaroni salad, cornbread, chili, ribs, blueberry/cranberry cake, etc. We highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful experience, food was great, even a vegan chili for vegetarians. Ride was comfortable and the view outstanding. Danny the driver and Rachel the tour guide were awesome. Our horses, Chip and Royal were beautiful. What a nice evening in Healy and the views were outstanding.
