Western Horizons Hot Air Balloons offers breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Southern Black Hills of South Dakota. Our hot air balloon rides last approximately one hour. The entire experience from pre-flight set up to post-flight refreshments can last from 2 to 3 hours. We fly out of Hot Springs, SD, just after sunrise, weather permitting.

It was a wonderful experience! Beautiful views of the southern black hills area that I’ve never seen and I grew up here! I felt totally at ease with Petra as our pilot as she is highly experienced and skilled!

Not gonna lie, I was kind of nervous to ride in a hot air balloon, but it was very fun! I felt super safe the whole time. The team was amazing. If you’re thinking about doing it, I highly recommend!
