The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

I would not book this unless I was certain I was going. My wife and I had to cancel our trip to Sedona due to illness. But this business does not provide refunds. Every other excursion we booked provided a refund. WARNING: Do not book unless you are absolutely certain you are going.

While we are saddened to receive such negative marks, this review contains some very sound advice and is worth a read. Please don’t book unless you plan on attending. Our policies around cancelations are clearly outlined, but are much more strict on paper than in practice. In the event of a no-call/no-show, the deposit is an insurance measure to protect our investment of time and our livelihoods. If in fact you did make an effort to cancel your reservation before it passed, and you feel that the decision was unjust, please reach out. We would be happy to work with you to make it right. We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to respond.

Alexa was awesome! We were a bit apprehensive at first as our greeting upon entering the shop was a little cool. However, Alexa was a great teacher and involved all 5 people in the class with each other's project. She gave good instructions and assistance with each and every one of us. It was a wonderful experience.
