Start times at the Hull's Cove Visitor Center are exact.
Cruise ship passengers will need to arrange travel to Hulls Cove Visitor Center as we have no human transport vehicles. We recommend the Island Explorer (free) or Cadillac Mtn. Shuttle (taxi). PLEASE plan this in advance.
Ebike battery charges last 30 to 50 miles depending on the effort and body weight of the renter.
All ebikes are class 1 (pedaling required) consistent with park service rules
We will text you 24 hours before your rental to remind you of the location and start time.
All ebikes come with an insulated bag, lock, phone holder, helmet and map.
All participants need to be capable of riding a typical pedal bike.

We have visited Acadia for 20 years and this is the first time we’ve explored by Ebike. Amazing! I can’t believe we’ve never done this before and we will do it regularly going forward. Island Time was easy and fast to book online just a day or two in advance. Pick up was convenient at Hull’s Cove- easy parking w a park pass. Reps were friendly and kind and gave clear instructions with a few test drives around the lot. Then we were off! We have ridden regular bikes on the carriage trails before and it can be pretty grueling. We never tired on the e-bikes, though it was still great exercise (and we are feeling it the next day!) The day rental was enough time to make all the loops and stop for popovers at Jordan Pond House as well as to admire the views from three different lakes and ponds. The maps and trail signs make it very easy to find your way thru the trails. In mid-July we found the trails in crowded but popular w hikers and bikers and horses. Cannot recommend this enough and can’t get to go again. A wonderful way to experience the carriage roads!

LOVED our Ebike tour! Ian was a great guide and we really enjoyed ourselves. My husband and I were new to Ebikes and we picked it very quickly. It was a wonderful way to see the park. Ian stopped and pointed out many interesting things along the way. It was a wonderful experience.
