Cruise ship passengers will need to arrange travel to Hulls Cove Visitor Center as we have no human transport vehicles. We recommend the Island Explorer (free) or Cadillac Mtn. Shuttle (taxi). PLEASE plan this in advance.
Ebike battery charges last 30 to 50 miles depending on the effort and body weight of the renter.
All ebikes are class 1 (pedaling required) consistent with park service rules
We will text you 24 hours before your rental to remind you of the location and start time.
All ebikes come with an insulated bag, lock, phone holder, helmet and map.
All participants need to be capable of riding a typical pedal bike.

Beautiful area with perfect weather. We came in on a cruise ship and transportation to the park was almost non-existent. Acadia offers shuttles but the season had ended (which was not noted on the park information page). Taxis have to be reserved in advance. Uber/Lyft, very hard to come by. And you cannot walk there. We were lucky enough to get the only Uber driver on duty (thanks Dora!) and she got us there and back to port. We were delayed getting off the ship (had to take a tender) and had to wait 30 minutes for him to show up after we got to the meeting area at Acadia. We were in touch with him and did try to cancel, but never heard anything. The manager that met us was unapologetic that we had to pay for transportation to and from Acadia. We paid for a 6 hour ride and only had about 3 1/2-4 hours, since we had to return to the ship. Bikes were in good shape and the ride was enjoyable (electric bikes make the hills so much easier!). It would seem that this should not geared towards cruise passengers unless the details are better noted, i.e., How long it takes to get there from the port, how to get there, length of activity, etc. I would do this again but would probably use a different company.

We are glad you enjoyed your ebike ride. We make it very clear in the description of the start location inside the park and that if you are coming from a cruise ship that you are responsible to get to the starting location. We rent ebikes. We do not transport people around the island. You had to return early from your ebike ride because you had to return to the ship. We are not responsible for your ship itinerary. We are not responsible of your timeline getting on or off the ship. Once again, we rent ebikes. Whatever else is going on with your cruise timeline is not in any way our responsibility.

My wife and I rented e-bikes for 5 hours. The bikes were excellent, and we rode 25 miles and 33 miles respectively around the carriage trails. Battery life was great, and the ebikes made for an enjoyable ride even through 2,400 feet of elevation gain. My wife who hardly rides was able to enjoy the ride. It was an excellent way to see the park, and different parts that we hadn't explored yet.

Beautiful scenery. Bikes and the carriage road trails were fabulous. Rode for the full time allotted and would do it again tomorrow.
