Joshua Tree Hummer Adventure z Palm Desert

Przegląd
Take a wild ride through the California desert in a comfortable open-air Hummer. Beware, it is 20 to 30 degrees cooler in the higher elevations and we highly recommend wearing layered clothing.

This tour journeys through fabled Joshua Tree National Park. You could now choose to leave from Palm Desert or at a discount come out to Yucca Valley at the Welcome Center where the open air Hummer begins. Those beginning in Palm Desert will ride in an air conditioned shuttle for comfort. The total tour length is about 5 hours if taking our shuttle.

Experience the natural beauty of the area while learning about its ecosystem and history from a National Park–approved guide.

We have taken over 100,000 happy guests on this tour and you will not be disappointed.

For those beginning this tour in the Palm Desert or Palm Springs area, we offer a comfortable air conditioned shuttle that takes you to Joshua Tree where the open air H1 Hummer portion of this tour will begin from the Welcome Center.

Loved this tour with BOB our guide! His amount of plant and park knowledge was unbelievable! Due to the heatwave (40+C temps) they oved us to an air conditioned van which was 100% appreciated, we never would have lasted in that heat! Our little hikes, Instagram photo shoots and all questions were so fun. Highly recommend!

This was the most horrible experience I had in Joshua Tree and would not recommend this company if I were paid to. I was told that I was the first to book this tour and received a courtesy call that because of the heat they considered an air conditioned van to take my partner and I in. I was explained that if I didn’t want the open air hummer they would have to call the others to let them know. I told them that I wanted the open hummer as it was an experience for my partner and his birthday. The guy said ok and if there was issues with weather he would call me. My partner and I got to the California visitor center and seen a close hummer there. I assumed that this was because of the weather. My partner went to the restroom and I was greeted by the driver (other owner of the company) and he met with me an a woman and repeatedly asked us if we were together. I told him my partner was in the restroom and she said her brother was also in the restroom. He said he only had too for 4 and we said cool… he explained that my name wasn’t on the list and the only one who was, was the woman and her brother. I explained this couldn’t be right as I just spoke with the owner the previous night and was told we were the first to book. This conversation lasted almost 10 mins going back and forth as the guy explained he already brought a couple down and could only fit one of the two of of (my partner or me). Of course I reply No! I then called the owner and he said that there was another couple coming down who didn’t want the open air so they just canceled our trip. We ended up purchasing a self guided tour (so good and done at out leisure). I would never recommend what I experienced especially if you are planning for a special occasion. It took 3 days to get my 358.00 back.

We are sorry you could not experience the open air Hummer tour as you have elaborated. What was not said was that the temperatures that day was up to 119° and the open air Hummer tour was canceled. You were notified of this cancellation the day before. We recommend carefully looking at your emails before driving out to our location. The national park put out an extreme weather alert and we were not able to run the tour. I'm glad you received your refund in swift timing. It takes TripAdvisor up to five business days with your bank to resolve a refund.

Thanks for reminding everyone that it might be hot in the lower desert in Palm Springs but once you get to the higher elevations of Joshua Tree the heat simmers down. You were lucky to have had Gary on board! He is just one fun-loving guy who is an expert and Joshua Tree National Park and is sure to keep you smiling and laughing.
