We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Isabel on our half-day Joshua Tree tour! She catered to exactly what we wanted to do and how we wanted to spend our time at Joshua Tree, but also provided her own suggestions since we didn’t know much about the park! As first time visitors, we’d heard the sunsets and nighttime was amazing up there so we actually ended up driving our car and following Isabel up to JT. Once up there, we got in the jeep and did a good mix of “off the beaten path” and touristy/classic Joshua tree. Isabel was so knowledgeable and gave us more information than we could’ve ever imagined; that way when we came back at night, we were equipped with EXACTLY where we wanted to go in the park. Big Wheels also allowed us use the same permit that was included in our tour price for when we returned back to Joshua Tree with our own car. Overall, we had the best, most unforgettable experience and we can’t thank Big Wheels Tours enough for tailoring their tour to our specific needs and what we wanted to do in Joshua Tree!!

Ben was a lot of fun to talk to throughout our tour. He shared a lot of cool facts about the canyon and park. This was our first off-roading experience and I'm glad it was on this tour with Ben. We experienced and learned about parts of JT park that we wouldn't have otherwise discovered.

The Joshua Tree National Park is a place like no other, beautiful, wild, remote, and with a special energy to it. A great place for exploring and replenishing your spirit. As a first-time solo female traveler in California, I can highly recommend this exciting but completely safe adventure. The company takes COVID precautions very seriously, so that I was the only customer on this tour. Isabel was an incredible guide, who is not only very knowledgeable about the park, but also tailored the tour to my interests (e.g.,I asked about cultural history), and showed a genuine interest in connecting on a human level, making me feel perfectly comfortable and entertained on our bumpy ride. Apart from the great conversation and ever-changing, fascinating landscape, I will particularly treasure the memory of seeing a handsome but rare ram up close. Considering all that, this tour is absolutely worth your time and great value for money.
