At Kaimana Ocean Safari you'll be guided by professionally trained ocean guides, boat captains, and underwater photographers to observe and interact with various wildlife along the Kona coastline. Our vessel only takes 6 people max so you beat the typical tourist trap large vessels for a more intimate experience. We approach our unique tours “safari” style, meaning we cover vast areas of the coastline in search of marine life aboard our vessel. We believe “the search” is part of the fun and allows nature to deliver the adventure. Join us on an incredible journey leaving you with a lifetime of memories! I can not give this tour enough stars! Kayleigh and Cam were AMAZING! We were greeted with smiles at the harbor and taken to the boat. We had two couples and the whole boat to ourselves! Within 10 minuets we were fortunate enough too be in the water with sandbar sharks and spinner dolphins! I understand the risks with these animals and never did I feel unsafe with cam or Kayleigh in the water. They were always watching our backs and also had a super huge/ sick camera documenting the whole time! I highly recommend getting the photo package. Trust me your go pro won’t do it justice. We later got in with pilot whales And were able to see one of this fish farms. Also had time to snorkel one of the reefs. The boat was super clean and comfortable and the ride was smooth! We already booked them again in this trip. This is unlike any snorkel tour you’ve ever done!!

What an amazing morning!! I cannot recommend this company enough. Kayleigh and Cam went above and beyond, had amazing customer service, and were so knowledgeable. We left the harbor and only a few moments later found two Rough Toothed Dolphins. They were able to put us in the water, safely for both us and the animals, twice with them. On the second time, we also saw an Oceanic Whitetip shark. Both species had been on my pelagic bucket list and it was amazing to be able to see them up close! We kept searching after that, even going further and stayed out a little longer than the trip time to get us in the water one more time! We went to a spot that is known for Mantas and while we didn’t get to see one of those beauts we did see a pod of Spinner dolphins and swam with them for awhile! They were very clear about the proper and safe way to interact with wildlife, letting them come to you, and we had some pretty magnificent encounters! I cannot recommend this company and crew enough. A perfect day out on the water searching for awesome pelagic species :)

I've been in Hawaii for a couple of years and done a lot of amazing things but this one is definitely top of the list! I have an extreme love for wildlife and the ocean in general and Kay and Cam were great at finding hidden gems around Kona. They are both very knowledgable about pretty much all wildlife in the ocean, badass divers, and cam takes amazing photographs! I went alone and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Saw Manta Rays, dolphins, and some cool caves! It's wildlife so it's pretty unpredictable but they know the good spots where animals are frequently spotted. Amazing tour and highly recommend as well as the photo package.
