We had an historical tour of each stop. Cool movie references and a lot of historical special interests. Jordan and Makela were awesome guides with lots of history from the area! What a nice small tour of the old sugar cane area, with a locally made granola bar and juice drink. Don’t miss this opportunity to “get dirty” in Kauai!

Tour was very limited, this company recently lost access to some of their trails / land and it shows. No major highlights, way to many boring stops. Guides were average at best. Vehicles were decent.

Didn’t see much updated information online regarding where exactly the tour now goes. Much of the tour was spent with a EXTREMELY SLOW 5-15 mph ride then stop and talk. Most of the online info shows waterfalls, going through the tunnel and tons of mud. NEGATIVE that no longer happens. It also shows a cave, but you aren’t allowed to go here it’s just viewed from afar. I kinda feel like I got suckered by all the great reviews and online videos cuz this is no longer what the tour consists of. It even seemed as if the guides were bummed the tour no longer visits the waterfall. An hour of this tour was spent hiking to look at the cave from afar and to a beach that the general public can drive to 👎🏻. Do yourself a favor save the money go on a whale watching tour, it was great!! This was EXTREMELY overpriced for what you get to do. Our Guides Chase and Tori were great just victims of the man who collects mega bucks for this sub par tour.

We are working with third party advertisers to make sure that the photos and information they are sharing is up to date. All guests are given the opportunity to cancel with a full refund prior to taking the Backroads Tour if they had booked the Waterfall Tour originally. Thank you for the feedback.
