Such an awesome way to see the Hoover dam and the Colorado river. The hot springs are perfection! Ashley was an expert at delivering an experience tailored to our ability. We all had some kayaking skill and were able to see so many awesome things along the way.

Highly recommend this amazing trip. I went in December and it was a pleasant 70 degrees and sunny. I want to give a special shout out to our guide Zander. We visited numerous hot springs and he not only shared his knowledge of the area, but played the flute. Hearing those Native American notes echo through the quiet canyon was incredible. Great tour company!

We have certainly had great weather during this year's Fall kayaking season. It's perfect for the folks visiting from chillier states or our neighbors up north! Xander's flute playing creates a fun vibe throughout the canyon when he plays. Too cool!

My husband and I participated in the 12 mile kayak that launched from the base of the Hoover Dam. We stayed in Las Vegas and drove in to the meet-up area and it was a very easy drive. Just a note since they have their shuttle on hold due to COVID: there was a couple that we met on the kayak trip who had trouble getting an Uber early in the morning for our 6:20 am meet time. They ended up taking a taxi which was expensive so keep that in mind if you don’t have a car that you may want to rent one or look into another arrangement (it is worth it!!!). I was very impressed with Evolution Expeditions attention to detail. They brought dry bags, water, snacks, and lunch along with a small amount of extras such as a towels. All provided food was very good. They use sit inside kayaks that are very nice and well taken care of. The pick-up from the meet-up point/the ending beach and the launch were very well-coordinated. The actual paddling experience was nothing short of awesome. You are surrounded by beauty and our guide Jon was very knowledgeable. He was also very communicative throughout the entire experience and was always checking in with us to see how we were doing. The 12 mile kayak was broken up by visiting hot springs and taking short breaks to stretch our legs (always with water and snacks :)). We went the Friday after Thanksgiving and it was cold but warmed up later during the kayak. Make sure to read their website in what you should wear- layers are key! I’ve done several different paddling adventures in different parts of the country and this one was the best one yet!
