Reach one hour ealry to get the boarding pass and stand in front of your cruise mentioned on your pass to catch good seats indoor.Its fist come first serve. Would recommend to get seats inside as its a 6 hour journey and gets cold towards the end. You can get on the deck anytime you want. Overall amazing experience with breathetaking views, keep binoculars with you as you keep seeing wildlife throught the trip.

We headed out on a rough day at sea, but the team at Kenai Fjords handled it so well. We were given the option to cancel day of, which I appreciated and they clearly laid out options/scenarios if weather worsened (basically Capt could turn back and we'd get a partial refund). We popped our dramamine and cruised out and were so glad we did. Despite the cloudy, rainy day we still made it to the glacier, heard calving, saw seals and otters and accessed a part of Alaska that we wouldn't otherwise have seen. The capt and crew was so wonderful with communicating when waters would be choppy and the staff was so helpful to make sure everyone was taken care of. It's a bigger boat, but I appreciated that for this journey. My 72 yr old mother stayed cozy inside with the views while my brother and I braved the rain for a closer look. I'd recommend this reputable company for a great experience for all ages.

Really good value, captain was incredibly knowledgeable about the biology of area, took us to see a bird a couple of us were interested in seeing.
