The Ketchikan All In One tour provides both the historical and scenic parts of Ketchikan, in a fully narrated 2.5 hour seaside tour. We will share our history rich city (including Creekstreet and the salmon ladder), explore the world's largest collection of totem poles at Saxman Native Village, have a chance to view a wide variety of wildlife at Herring Cove (including bears, seals and eagles) and see a beautiful waterfall. We travel comfortably in deluxe 14 passenger vans.

I know this is a good price, but it's not worth it. We were crammed like sardines into 2 x 9-seater vans that reeked of cigarettes (everyone on the tour was complaining about both vans smelling like ash trays) and the windows didn't open and the AC barely worked. If you're on the NCL cruise, it's docked at a different port which takes 20 minutes by shuttle to get to/from downtown where this tour departed from. The confirmation email for this tour notes that they can drop off to Ward Cove (where NCL is) which was a big plus for us, but when I asked the owner (who met us at the beginning before giving us to our inexperienced tour guide) he said he wasn't able to drop us off there because he doesn't have a permit to go there (I asked why he advertises this then and he didn't have an answer). We had a 15 minute window to make it back for the last shuttle back to NCL so we were anxious about missing it (we made it, even with the tour ending late - which was annoying since they knew us and another couple had a time crunch to catch the shuttle). Our tour guide was inexperienced as a tour guide - we thought he was joking when he told us this was his 2nd tour ever - he didn't know the totem pole stories, so we listened to another guide explaining them. His driving was unsettling as he kept looking and pointing at things out of the window, and later told us that his right wrist is broken (safe for driving?). If you're on a cruise and only have a short window in Ketchikan and want to explore outside of the town, I would recommend hiring a cab to drive you to the different view points or drop you off at the totem park - we saw others doing this and it would have been much easier and more comfortable.

Our vans are all 14 Passenger vans. We clearly state our meeting point. We are a small local company we are growing. All of our vans have all been fully detailed after a house fire. It's a 4 min walk from berth 2 to berth 4. That is part of the tour. Driving an pointing out things from one destination to the other. His driving record is great. Yes he is a life long local an it was his second tour with our company. We all have to start somewhere. We have had many guest from the NCL who have no problem with the fact we can not drop them off where we are not permitted to. We at Seaside do appreciate all of our reviews. Thank you

Excellent Trip, definitely recommend this trip to give you an insight into Ketchikan from a local who puts you first and not the clock

Pls avoid this tour... beach,waterfall etc are all worthless.. not a single wildlife seen.. not to mention they gave us a beat up stinky van..!! that bearded guy is a cheat...

The beach holds a lot of Ketchikan history. That same beach many have been lucky enough to see the whales the water fall. Great picture opportunity. "No Wild life " makes me a cheat. No these are wild animals. It just wasn't your day. An that's just how it goes sometimes.
